Assessments
Candidate Declaration and Confidentiality Undertaking
The short declaration you accept before you sit a CoreKnowledge assessment. It records that you understand the rules, that you will keep content confidential and that you agree to the security checks described in our policies.
1. What you are declaring
- 1.1I understand that this is a practice assessment provided by CoreKnowledge to help me prepare, and that it is not an official examination.
- 1.2I am the person registered to this account, and I will sit this assessment myself, without help from anyone.
- 1.3I have read and I accept the Assessment Regulations (the version number is recorded when I accept).
- 1.4I will not copy, photograph, record, share or sell any question, answer option, scenario, feedback or marking key, during or after the assessment, and I will not use any unauthorised notes, devices, websites or AI tools.
- 1.5I will tell CoreKnowledge if I become aware that assessment content has been shared or leaked.
- 1.6I understand that my attempt is logged (including times, answers, IP address and device information) and that my candidate ID is shown on the pages of the assessment, for security and fairness.
2. What we record and why
- 2.1When you accept, we record your account, the version of the Regulations, the date and time and your IP address. We keep this record to show that you were informed, in line with our Retention Schedule.
- 2.2We use the attempt log only to deliver and mark the assessment, keep it secure, investigate suspected misconduct and improve our questions. See the Assessment Data and Confidentiality Notice.
3. If you cannot accept
- 3.1If you do not agree, do not start the assessment. If you need support or have a question, contact us first at coreknowledgedigital@gmail.com. We will explain, and if you need a reasonable adjustment we will help (see Reasonable Adjustments and Additional Support).
